HOUSTON, TX, Nov. 12 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of Enhanced Oil
Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has
appointed Mr Barry Portman as Manager Drilling and Well Operations. Mr Portman
will join the Company on November 21, 2007.
Mr. Portman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and has 10 years of experience in the
oil industry. Barry has spent most of his career with Marathon Oil and Kinder
Morgan CO2 where he was Production Manager and most recently Drilling and Well
Operations Manager responsible for drilling and production operations in
Kinder Morgan's enhanced oil recovery fields.
EOR Inc.'s President and CEO Mr. Barry Lasker reports "The Company is
very pleased to have Barry join the team at EOR. Barry's experience in the oil
and gas industry and his knowledge of CO2 drilling and enhanced oil recovery
(EOR) operations will greatly help the Company as it executes its plan to
become one of the largest EOR resource companies in the Country."
Enhanced Oil Resources Inc. is a development stage, enhanced oil recovery
(EOR), company that controls approximately 235,000 acres of land within the St
Johns Helium/CO2 field in Arizona and New Mexico where the Company is
developing what is thought to be the largest undeveloped resource of helium
and carbon dioxide gases in North America. Independent engineering firms have
estimated that the St Johns field contains approximately 15 trillion cubic
feet of in place resources, with a potential recoverable resource of 5
trillion cubic feet. Development of the project could result in the Company
becoming one of North America's largest CO2 suppliers and EOR producers. The
Company's strategic focus for CO2 delivery and EOR production is the Permian
Basin where significant potential exists for enhanced oil recovery from
mature, depleted oil fields.
