MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 12 /CNW/ - Enersource Hydro Mississauga Services
Inc. (EHMS) announced today that it will provide street lighting consulting
services to the City of Brampton, providing engineering design and contract
administration services for two major street lighting projects. In the two
projects, EHMS will design and oversee the upgrade and removal of existing
street lighting on Bramalea Road, from Queen Street to Algonquin Boulevard,
and in Madoc Subdivision Phase 3, along Hanson Road north, Sutherland Avenue
and Crawford Drive.
EHMS was selected among several other consultants to perform these
services for the City of Brampton, based on experience in design, relevant
regulation, inspection, and contract administration and other criteria. The
project will be lead by Andrew Bloomfield, Manager, Street Lighting Services
of Enersource Hydro Mississauga Services Inc., who is also responsible for all
aspects of the core street lighting contract which EHMS holds with the City of
Mississauga to maintain that city's 50,000 street lights. "This is one of
several commercial contracts that we have been fortunate to win recently,"
said Bloomfield. "Experience seems to fuel growth, and as we expand to
neighbouring jurisdictions like this, it is clear that there is considerable
opportunity to bring our expert team to bear, serving other Ontario markets."
Enersource Hydro Mississauga Services Inc. is a wholly-owned affiliate of
