Enerchem International Inc. Sundre Plant Operations Update

CALGARY, Sept. 25 /CNW/ - Enerchem reports that it has completed the
re-installation of the salt-bath heaters at its Sundre fractionation plant,
returning the plant to its original operating state. The re-installation of
the salt-bath heaters resumes production from the plant's processing towers
which was largely restricted during the period affected by the Company's
attempts to implement the new direct fired heater system. The re-installation
of the salt bath heaters, while not as operationally efficient as the direct
fired heaters were anticipated to be, provides Enerchem with the ability to
process flowback as a substitute for the higher-cost crude oil feedstock. This
capability serves to reduce the Company's average cost of feedstock. The
Company continues its efforts to address the issues regarding the recently
removed direct-fired heaters and ultimate replacement of the salt-bath system.
