CALGARY, Nov. 29 /CNW/ - Enerchem International Inc. announced today the
purchase of the bi-directional lateral crude oil pipeline and land activated
control terminal which will connect the Company's Slave Lake fractionation
plant to the Rainbow Pipeline. The 168 mm (6 inch) diameter by 2.1 km pipeline
will significantly increase the business opportunities available to the
Company's Energy Marketing business group.
Mr. Doug Robinson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Enerchem
International Inc., stated, "This acquisition provides the Company with a
strategic long-term growth opportunity for its energy marketing activities."
Mr. Robinson further stated, "We are presently in the process of completing
our new crude oil terminaling facility at the Slave Lake plant which when
connected to the pipeline in the first quarter of 2008 will provide new
opportunities to enhance this facilities capabilities and operating
