Gold Jupiter: England
On June 27, English firm Pains Fireworks dazzled Montrealers with a
pyromusical performance entitled "Day and Night" that explored the mysterious
spheres of day and night - the ultimate metaphor for human beings' duality.
Twilight was the starting point for the show, which presented a mystic and

Silver Jupiter: Germany
This past Wednesday, German firm IP astonished fireworks fans with a
oure-form pyromusical presentation entitled "Feel the unusual emotions of
original fireworks". IP enchanted its audience with a traditional-style
performance accompanied by pleasing classical music. The show comprised basic
pyrotechnic effects, with golden hues predominating. Simplicity gave way to a
more complex portion as carefully selected pieces took over the sky, providing
a parade of colours that included purples, pinks and turquoises - tthe most
contemporary colours seen in the past 30 years.
Bronze Jupiter: United States
On July 14, U.S. firm Pyro Spectaculars by Souza treated aficionados to a
breathtaking performance entitled "An American Idol". This salute to eternal
idol Elvis Presley presented many of The King's best-loved songs in a mix of
fast-paced, energizing tunes and more melodious, romantic numbers. Pyro
Spectaculars by Souza president and creative director Jim Souza, a huge fan of
the rock 'n' roll legend, designed a 100% Elvis extravaganza that provided the
audience with a multitude of memorable moments.
