VANCOUVER, Oct. 3 /CNW/ - egX Group Inc. has engaged Barnes McInerney
Inc. (BMI) to provide investor relations and corporate communications services
to egX Group.
Established in 1986, BMI operates out of Toronto, Calgary and Montreal.
BMI has served over 500 public company clients, including Canada's leading
investment banks, Real Estate Investments Trusts and major securities
exchanges in the UK, US and Canada. BMI offers a fully integrated suite of
products, focusing on strategic investor relations, Initial Public Offerings,
Mergers & Acquisitions, roadshow marketing, corporate communications and new
media solutions. BMI and its principals are at arm's length to egX Group.

expand our retail and institutional shareholder base," stated Leo Chamberland,
President & CEO. "Not only are we launching the only securities exchange which
specializes in listing and trading real estate securities, but we are also
introducing the egX concept in a number of foreign jurisdictions. BMI has
extensive experience in the securities exchange industry and will be
instrumental in assisting us with the deployment of our operations."
The investor relations agreement is for an initial one-year term. egX
Group will pay a monthly fee of $7,000. BMI will commence its provision of
services under its engagement starting October 3, 2007. Under the agreement,
BMI will develop a strategic investor relations plan and implement campaigns
to strengthen its communication with the investment community. Neither BMI,
nor any of its employees, holds any interest, directly or indirectly, in egX
Group Inc, or any right or intent to acquire such an interest. This agreement
is subject to regulatory approvals.
