    Self-Service Environment the Focus of Redesigned Web Site
    

    BURLINGTON, Ontario, Sept. 6 /CNW/ -- eBRIDGE Software is excited to
announce that it has achieved another major step in providing SaaS
(Software-as-a-Service) and user-driven integration functionality with the
launch of its redesigned Web Site (www.ebridgesoft.com)
    With new features such as ePortal, eShop, and dedicated Support to
enhance the user experience, the eBridge Web Site now functions as a
self-service platform for end-users to achieve their data integration
objectives.
    With ePortal, users remotely access, track and integrate EDI documents
using the eBridge OnDemand Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. eBridge
OnDemand enables an organization to achieve data integration utilizing the
powerful processing features of Microsoft(R) BizTalk Server(TM) 2006 R2 and
the revolutionary eBridge Universal Integration Engine (UIE) without the need
for a traditional on-premise solution.
    "One of the challenges we faced in providing a customer-centric SaaS
platform was to do it in a way that didn't impact our existing customers'
transactions," stated Alex Stewart, VP of Operations at eBRIDGE Software. "We
overcame this hurdle by adopting the BizTalk Server 2006 engine as our
transactional platform, which allowed for a seamless transition for existing
customers."
    In addition to ePortal, the eShop site lists the products and services
available for purchase from eBRIDGE. As integration kits are developed for the
UIE, eShop will be continually updated to offer the most extensive range of
integration solutions to the SMB market at less cost than traditional methods.
