PEGGY'S COVE, NS, Feb. 14 /CNW/ - In early Winter, EastLink began
construction on a new communications network to deliver communications and
entertainment services to West Dover and Peggy's Cove. EastLink annouced today
that the network construction is now complete and it is launching high-speed
Speed Internet, Phone and Cable service to the communities.
In October 2007, EastLink was selected by the Halifax Regional
Municipality (HRM) to provide high-speed Internet service to the communities
of West Dover and Peggy's Cove. EastLink invested $250,000 to support the
Internet expansion and the launch of telephone and cable services in the area.
