HALIFAX, Oct. 9 /CNW/ - EastLink and CBC News: Nova Scotia at Six have
created a unique programming partnership to provide Nova Scotians detailed
coverage of this year's municipal elections.
From the campaign trail to the final results, EastLink and CBC are
bringing comprehensive coverage of the municipal elections into the living
rooms of Nova Scotians with Municipal Vote 2008. Coverage begins on Saturday,
October 18, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. exclusively on EastLink Television. This is the
first time the two companies have joined together for an election special.
CBC News: Nova Scotia at Six host Jim Nunn will anchor the coverage,
while EastLink's Dan Robertson will provide regular updates from the 'EastLink
Results Desk' in Lower Sackville.
