pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Annie Wang as the President of
ACT's new Asia, Pacific and Far East operations.

About Dr. Annie Wang
Dr. Annie Wang was born in Beijing, educated in the US, is fluently
bilingual and bi-cultural, and is a US citizen. She has held key management
positions for over 16 years with Industrial Scientific Corporation (ISC), a
global leader in gas detection and monitoring solutions with over 850
employees and operations around the world.
Dr. Wang is an expert in international technology approvals for IS, MSHA,
IEC ex, ATEX, MA, UL, and CE for the coal, oil and gas, and other extreme
environments. She received a Ph.D. in Physics from Stevens Institute of
Technology, New Jersey, USA and a BS in Optics from Huazhong University of
Science and Technology, Wuhan, China.
In 2000, after residing in the US for nearly two decades, she initiated
the ISC China operation and moved to Shanghai, where she successfully built an
ISO 9000 factory with 300 employees for the company. Under her leadership,
ISC's sales in China went from zero to millions of dollars annually, with
seven consecutive years of more than 100% compound growth.
Prior to joining ACT, Dr. Wang was the President of ISC Asia Pacific from
2000 to mid-2008, where she developed several gas monitor products for coal
mines and petrochemical applications. She used these products to open the
China market and achieved over 100% compound growth from 2001 to 2007. Dr.
Wang also held the position of Vice President, Engineering and R&D for ISC
from 1997 to 2006. She created and led the technical teams in both US and
China to develop a portfolio of new products to drive company growth. She
created and implemented a new product development process and hired top notch
engineers. She earned several US patents related to gas sensors and
technologies for safety and industrial hygiene applications for the
underground coal mining and petrochemical industries.
As part of Dr. Wang's compensation, she will be granted 750,000 options
to purchase common shares of ACT at $0.10 per share for five (5) years. Dr.
Wang's appointment is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
