CALGARY, Aug. 12 /CNW/ - IDC (Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd.) (TSX: IDL),
the global leader in the rapidly growing market for digital radiography (DR),
today announced that Doctors Hospital at Renaissance (DHR) in Edinburg, Texas

"We have extensive experience with all types of radiography systems,
including conventional X-ray, computed radiography and digital radiography
systems," explains Melissa Pena Flores, DHR Radiology Director. "IDC's digital
radiography system is not only faster, more efficient and easier to use than
film or CR, the image quality is also superior."
DHR is a 437-bed complete acute care facility providing a full range of
medical and surgical services. In addition to its on-campus imaging facility,
DHR has five freestanding imaging centers located throughout the Rio Grande
Valley and delivers a full range of diagnostic and interventional radiological
services for both in-patients and out-patients.
"The decision-makers at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance were at first
attracted to IDC's low cost of acquisition and ownership, but were ultimately
sold on IDC's image quality," commented Carlos Cabral, IDC Regional Vice
President. "DHR's imaging services are among its most highly prized
capabilities, so it is quite an honor for IDC to have been selected and a
validation of our advantages over our larger competitors."
