Dive into Central Waterfront Revitalization



    Local students join governments and Waterfront Toronto to mark start of
    construction at Spadina Head of Slip

    TORONTO, Nov. 30 /CNW/ - Officials from three levels of government and
children from the Waterfront School's grade five/six class will join
Waterfront Toronto at the Spadina Head of Slip to kick-start work on
reclaiming the water's edge.
    The Spadina Head of Slip will mark the first step in implementing the
eagerly-awaited West 8 + DTAH design selected in the Central Waterfront
Innovative Design Competition in 2006. The plan will provide five kilometres
of continuous public access to Toronto's central waterfront between Bathurst
and Parliament Streets.
