ROUYN-NORANDA, QC, March 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Lounor Exploration Inc.
announces that the second drilling program has been started on the Harker gold
property. The property is situated in the Harker Township, Ontario in the
Timmins-Porcupine mining camp.
The first drilling program completed in January 2008, confirmed the
presence of gold bearing rock and structures typical of Timmins mining camp.
The first three holes returned gold values over 75 meters in strike length at
50 meter depth. (Press release, February 5, 2008)
Two drill holes are completed, the pyritic zone was intersected. The
silicified rhyolitic rocks are gradually sheared and altered and well
mineralized. The zone is larger than expected. Samples were prepared and
shipped to the lab for chemical analyses.
