Devine Entertainment's New Prime Time Cable Television Series Lauded in Leading Newspapers Following Season's Halfway Point

Breakout Miniseries "Across the River to Motor City" Generates Continued
    Critical and Popular Acclaim

    TORONTO, Dec. 18 /CNW/ - Devine Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB:DVNNF),
seeking to capitalize on the burgeoning global demand for high quality film
and television content, has announced that its new prime time cable television
miniseries, "Across the River to Motor City" has continued to receive rave
reviews halfway through its six-episode run. The program has been the subject
of cover stories and articles in the entertainment sections of several
newspapers, including the Toronto Star, The National Post, The Globe and Mail,
SUN Television and, most recently, Metro Canada.
"With its intertwining of history, mob drama murder and suspense, Across
The River To Motor City is a brilliant mini series serving up all these
elements and more," according to an article in Metro, Canada's most popular
free daily paper, with a national circulation of 300,000.
"Across the River to Motor City," Devine's first foray into prime time
television, is a gritty and film-noir tale that revolves around a mystery
spanning two countries and two eras.
"The development of "Across the River" has been an indication of Devine
Entertainment's transition toward becoming a vertically integrated
entertainment company," said David Devine, President and Chief Executive
Officer. "We are gratified that our first project to target a mainstream
adult-audience demographic has been received so positively. We believe the
success of "Across the River" will help accelerate additional anticipated
productions that will contribute further to our strategies to generate high
growth revenues and to build shareholder value."
"Across the River to Motor City" follows the story of Benjamin Ford, an
aging insurance investigator whose one-time fiancée disappeared on the day JFK
is shot in 1963. When questions about her disappearance resurface decades
later, Ford's obsession to discover the truth also resurfaces.
Devine has emerged as an industry leader in the production of film,
television and video content targeting the children's, family and educational
marketplace worldwide.
