Devine Entertainment Reports 2007 First Quarter Delivery Of First Two Episodes Of New Mystery Series Across The River To Motor City

Company Expects Profitable First Quarter With Further Increases In Second
    Quarter

    TORONTO, April 24 /CNW/ - Devine Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB:DVNNF)
today announced 2007 first quarter completion and delivery of the first two
episodes of an initial six episode season of its mystery series entitled
Across the River to Motor City. The Company expects to be profitable in the
first quarter ended March 31, 2007, recognizing between $1.5 and $2 million
(all figures in Canadian dollars) in revenues from its broadcast license of
Across the River to Motor City to CHUM Television, other Canadian sales of the
series and additional sales derived from its proprietary library of motion
pictures, film and television programs.
President and C.E.O. David Devine noted: "We expect revenue and profit to
further increase in the second quarter of 2007 as we complete and deliver the
next four episodes of Across the River to Motor City. Revenues from our
library are also growing as a result of our new distribution agreement with
Carrere Group of Paris and we expect new sales in the second half of the year
from our recent licensing of the Marsalis on Music DVD series." CHUM
Television recently commissioned four new scripts for a second season of the
series Across the River to Motor City. Management notes that these initial
revenues from Across the River to Motor City are solely derived from Canadian
pre-sales with sales of the series in the US and foreign markets worldwide
generating additional revenue in the future.
