Desjardins Unveils Names of Finalists for Desjardins Entrepreneurship Prizes



    MONTREAL, June 17 /CNW Telbec/ - Desjardins Group, the largest financial
institution in Québec, is proud to announce the names of the finalists for the
Desjardins Entrepreneurship Prizes. These prestigious awards showcase the
excellence of local businesses and their active contribution to regional
economic development.
    According to Stéphane Achard, Senior Vice-President and General Manager,

    The winners will be announced on October 6, 2009, at en event presided by
Monique F. Leroux, Chair of the Board, President and CEO of Desjardins Group.
    Following a rigorous analysis process, the Desjardins Entrepreneurship
Prize winners will be selected by a jury of respected panellists: Diane G.
Dubé, Vice-President, Québec Région of Export Development Canada; Carmela
Zampini, Vice-President of Bell Enterprise, with Bell; Jean-Paul Gagné, Editor
Emeritus of Les Affaires newspaper; Marc-André Nadeau, Partner, Financial
Advisory Services, Samson Bélair / Deloitte & Touche; Gino Reeves, Head of
entrepreneurship services at the Secrétariat à la jeunesse du Québec; Michel
Magnan, Full Professor at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia
University and Lawrence Bloomberg Chair in Accountancy.
