Deployment concluded of armoured squadron to Afghanistan



    VALCARTIER GARRISON, QC, Feb. 25 /CNW Telbec/ - The gradual deployment of
about one hundred soldiers of D Squadron of 12e Régiment blindé du Canada
ended yesterday. These troops have now integrated the Joint Task Force
Afghanistan (JTF-Afg), Operation ATHENA, Rotation 5, for a mission that will
go on until September 2008.
    Troops of D Squadron now respond to Canadian Expeditionary Forces Command
(Ottawa) until the end of their mission. For any questions regarding these
