CALGARY, Oct. 15 /CNW/ - Decision Dynamics Technology Ltd. (the
"Company") (TSX-V: DDY), a leading provider of operations management software
for the energy industry, today announced changes to its management team. Kim
Tremblay, Acting CFO has been appointed CFO. Jason MacVicar has joined the
Company and has been appointed Executive VP of Sales.
The promotion of Kim to CFO recognizes the contributions that Kim has
made over the last several months as Acting CFO and for the previous 2 years
as the Controller for the Company. We are also pleased to announce that Jason
has joined Decision Dynamics as the Executive VP of Sales. Jason MacVicar has
a record of establishing sales organizations in small growing software
businesses and we look forward to his contribution in building our sales
organization and delivering revenue growth. "Decision Dynamics is continuing
to manage its costs and these changes remain consistent with the reduction in
the management team from 7 persons to 3 earlier this year," said Justin Zinke,
CEO. "Although we are well funded as a result of the divestiture of our
Wellcore business we believe it is important to maintain an appropriately
sized management team as we grow the Company."
"Decision Dynamics is positioned very well to capture a large piece of
the project cost management solution market. The fact that energy companies
are focusing more on the bottom line presents us with a tremendous opportunity
to get our product offering out there," said Jason MacVicar.
