Two key appointments to the sales team bring years of successful
industry experience to DECIMAL.

announces the appointment of Derek Sandison as Vice President,
Strategic Alliances, and Derek McMahon as Senior Manager, Business
Development. Sandison and McMahon will be responsible for overseeing
DECIMAL activities in Canada and the United States and for maintaining

Derek Sandison brings to DECIMAL years of experience in the field of
balanced scorecards, business modeling and advanced cost management. He
was previously founder and CEO of Sapling Corporation. When Sapling was
acquired by Hyperion, Sandison formed Hyperion's Performance Management
Division with a particular focus on expanding Performance Management
solutions internationally. Hyperion was later acquired by Oracle and
the original Sapling applications are now part of Oracle's Enterprise
Performance Management solutions.
Derek McMahon brings to DECIMAL over 20 years of sales experience in a
variety of senior positions. He is a top-performing professional in the
sale of strategic IT solutions to major corporations and government
accounts. Experienced in managing complex sales processes and solving
clients' business needs, McMahon has extensive experience in
Performance Management and Business Analytics Solutions. Most recently,
he was senior account executive for Cognos, now an IBM company, and
also for SAS as an account executive in the public and insurance
