    Steve Finn and Jerome Goure Join Evian Team in VP Roles

    
    ATLANTA, June 2 /CNW/ -- Danone Waters of America (DWA) today announced
the appointment of two new Vice Presidents, Jerome Goure joins as Vice
President, Marketing in North America and Steve Finn joins the company as Vice
President, Retail Sales in the United States.

    Jerome Goure will oversee marketing and communications programming for
all brands in the Danone Waters of America portfolio. Over the past nine years
Goure has held a number of positions within the Groupe Danone organization in
Europe and North Africa. He spent the last year as marketing director with
Danone Dairy Algeria, staffing a local marketing team, setting portfolio and
brand strategies and building a network with key agencies.  Prior to that, he
spent four years as a brand marketing manager with Danone, in the Danette &
Danio and Kids dairy products divisions, in France. Before that he spent two
years in Poland, as brand marketing manager for kids' products at Danone Dairy
Poland. From 2000 to 2002 he was a brand manager for baby ready-to-eat meals
with Bledina - Danone in France. Goure is a graduate of Ecole Superieure de
Commerce de Paris, France.

and operational knowledge of the Danone organization to his new role of vice
president, marketing," said Elio Pacheco, President and General Manager, DWA.

brands will be invaluable as we take our brands to new levels of leadership in
the bottled water category."

    In his return to Danone, Finn will lead the United States retail sales
organization for the Evian Natural Spring Water business. Prior to joining
DWA, Finn spent three years with ConAgra Foods, most recently as director of
sales, Costco team leader.  Before that he spent one year as director of sales
and business development for Alexia Foods (a subsidiary of ConAgra Foods)
after two years as sales director for ConAgra Food Ingredients. He also served
for two years as director of sales for Peet's Coffee and Tea, leading the
execution of sales and marketing plans with national and western-based retail
accounts. From 1992 to 2002, Finn held a variety of positions within Danone
Waters of America, with his latest position as senior national account
manager, overseeing national accounts in the club, cash and carry, mass
merchandiser, drug and supermarket channels. He also held the roles of Western
division sales manager, sales planning manager, region sales manager and
district sales manager during his tenure. Prior to that, he spent two years
with The Pillsbury Company. Finn earned a B.A. in business administration from
Northern Arizona University.
