D-BOX Provides Update from the 2007 CEDIA

    LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - D-BOX Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: DBO.A)
("D-BOX" or the "Company"), a leading provider of motion technology for
immersive home entertainment today provided an update following its
participation at the 2007 Consumer Electronic Design and Installation
Association ("CEDIA") Expo that was a success. At the event, D-BOX unveiled a
new product version of the Universal Motion Platform, received two industry
awards and previewed a soon to be released clip of a Blu-ray movie embedded
with D-BOX(TM) MOTION CODE(TM).
The UMP-200, unveiled earlier this month at the 2007 CEDIA, is in-line
with the Company's objective to develop more flexible and affordable platforms
in order to attract a wider audience. The technological components of this
adaptable home entertainment system are completely integrated and require
minimal assembly.
"Every year we look forward to the CEDIA Expo where we are able to
demonstrate our technology to a discerning audience and we are always pleased
to see the enthusiasm with which our products are received," said Claude
Mc Master, President and CEO of D-BOX Technologies. "Along with this event,
D- BOX was awarded a CustomRetailer EXC!TE Award and the previously announced
Electronic House Product of the Year Award."
During the CEDIA 2007 Expo, D-BOX showcased its home entertainment
systems by previewing a clip of the soon to be released DIE HARD IV with
D-BOX(TM) MOTION CODE(TM) on Blu-ray disk produced by Twentieth Century Fox
and also demonstrated its new GP-200 Gaming Chair to an enthusiastic audience.
After trying out the D-BOX GP-200, Reed Stevens, a professional Formula race
car driver said: "With the D-Box system I was instantly reminded of my formula
car, the feeling of the chassis over the curbing and hard braking at the end
of the straight were perfectly replicated. I could have spent hours making
laps, tuning the car and perfecting my technique with the feedback of the
D-BOX system."
The 2007 CEDIA Expo was held in Colorado in early September. It is the
premiere trade show for the residential electronic systems industry and this
year's exposition topped 29,000 attendees. For more information, please visit
