Date: Saturday, September 29, 2007
Time: 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Location: On picket line outside the Orpheum
Ms. Hynes, who when not on strike works as an Inspections Division clerk
for the City of Vancouver, will be performing pieces composed during the civic
strike of 2007, such as:
Back on the Picket line
I hope I still have my city job
Larry did it, why can't you?
These popular songs have inspired and kept up civic worker morale during
the two-and-a-half month strike.
Ms. Hynes will be available for autographs after the performance.
This complimentary picket line performance is brought to you by the CUPE
15 employees at the Orpheum, forced on strike by the City of Vancouver since
July 23rd, 2007.
Please respect our picket line. You may wish to ask the Vancouver
Symphony Orchestra for a refund or exchange of your ticket.
Support fairness for civic workers.
