its purchase of the radio assets of The Beat Broadcasting Corporation in
Vancouver, BC, which owns and operates Vancouver radio station CFBT-FM (The
BEAT 94.5 FM). CRTC approved the transaction in early October.

has grown to become a ratings leader in the Vancouver radio market. The
BEAT 94.5 serves Vancouver's young adult audience, ranking No.1 in both adults

existing roster of AM and FM Vancouver stations that consist of 103.5 QM-FM,
