TORONTO, Sept. 10 /CNW/ - Craib Design & Communications, a Toronto-based
corporate design and communications firm, will be launching its fifth annual
AR TRENDS and second CSR TRENDS surveys at the TSX Media Centre on September
AR TRENDS is a systematic survey developed by Craib to keep abreast of
benchmarks, best practices and great ideas in North American and European
annual reports. The results are distilled and analyzed before being packaged
into a live presentation and full-colour book.
This year, as one of Craib's sponsors, PricewaterhouseCoopers will bring
you up to date on the International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS")
that will come into effect in 2011. They've written a special report on IFRS
for AR TRENDS and will make a presentation at the launch event.
CSR TRENDS provides a solid overview of trends and best practices in the
ever-expanding field of corporate social responsibility. The purpose of this
survey is to help companies understand how to effectively communicate their
CSR strategy, key issues and performance.
Craib has partnered with Canadian Business for Social Responsibility on
CSR TRENDS this year, jointly reviewing 250 reports from around the globe.
CBSR is a business-led, non-profit CSR consultancy. Its members include over
100 of Canada's leading corporations. CBSR has also written a special report
for CSR TRENDS on establishing your CSR reporting process and will make a
presentation at the launch event. For more information about CBSR and their
