Correction: Green Party's Kelowna Accord commitment

OTTAWA, Sept. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - In the 2008 Political Party Report Card,
the Canadian Federation of Students graded the Green Party of Canada's
platform for Aboriginal students an "F". The platform makes no specific
mention of Aboriginal students and their struggles.
However, the Report Card mistakenly overlooks the Party's promise to
restore the Kelowna Accord introduced under the Liberals in 2005. For this
campaign promise, the Green Party's grade for Aboriginal education policy is
upgraded to a C+. The Federation regrets the error.
The 2008 Political Party Report Card can be found at
www.VoteEducation.ca.

The Canadian Federation of Students is Canada's largest students'
organisation. It is composed of more than 80 university and college students'
associations with a combined membership of over one-half million students.
