CORRECTING and REPLACING TELUS Security Solutions Selects Qualys SaaS Platform to Provide Comprehensive, Real-Time Vulnerability and Risk Management for Canadian Market

Leading Canadian Telecommunications Provider Enhances MSS Offering With
QualysGuard On Demand SaaS Solutions and Selects QualysGuard as a Key
Element of Its Security Posture Assessment Practice

TORONTO, November 20 /CNW/ - Ninth paragraph of the press release, TELUS
boilerplate has been replaced with an updated version.

Qualys, Inc., the leading provider of on demand security risk and
compliance management solutions, today announced that TELUS Security Solutions
has selected Qualys' technology to add a new vulnerability and compliance
management service to the company's current Managed Security Services (MSS)
offering. The partnership further enhances its customers' ability to prevent,
detect and respond to vulnerabilities and threats in real-time. TELUS Security
Solutions MSS will leverage Qualys' on demand security risk and compliance
management platform, QualysGuard, to scan customer assets, analyze threat data
and correlate it in real time -- enabling customers to effectively manage risk
and produce documentation for regulatory compliance. Additionally, TELUS
Security Solutions will augment the QualysGuard platform with its proven
Assurent zero-day threat and vulnerability service.

With growing demand for security solutions that address privacy concerns
and regulatory compliance, TELUS' MSS delivers immediate assessment and
reporting for customers' IT risk and compliance posture as they relate to
global requirements for PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
as well as C-Sox (also referred to as Bill 198) and MITS (Management of
Information Technology Security) for companies and government agencies in
Canada. Under the terms of the agreement, Canadian customers can now obtain
Qualys' leading security-as-a-service (Security SaaS) platform through a
trusted partner, with data hosted at a local Canadian-based Security
Operations Center (SOC), meeting the stringent privacy requirements required
by Canadian federal and provincial government agencies.

TELUS will launch its Proactive Vulnerability Management Service powered
by Qualys in January 2008. Under the terms of the agreement, TELUS Security
Solutions will resell QualysGuard as well as leverage it for both their
consulting organization and as the exclusive technology for the MSS offering.
The service will assist customers by assigning highly skilled security
analysts to frequently scan key assets, analyze results to determine threats
that pose a risk and work with customers to pragmatically prioritize and
remediate high risk threats. Customers with in-house expertise can work with
TELUS to obtain the Canadian hosted-version of Qualys as a self-service
option.

"The top-quality vulnerability management and policy compliance scanning
capabilities provided by Qualys enable TELUS Security Solutions to continue to
deliver on our mandate of bringing industry-leading capabilities to both our
consulting and managed security customers," said Dr. Richard Reiner, chief
security and technology officer, TELUS Security Solutions. "The accuracy,
scalability and ease of deployment that the Qualys platform delivers allows us
to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers."

"When we set out to identify the next-generation platform for
vulnerability management, we wanted a partner that understood it to be more
than just scanning. We sought a company that understood risk in its fullest
sense," said Mark Noppe, managing director of TELUS Security Solutions.
"Qualys is a key component of our security solutions mission to enable
Canadian customers to be in control of their security and compliance posture."

"As consolidation in the high-tech industry and the security space in
particular rages on, organizations are now migrating toward
software-as-a-service and MSS offerings. They present a better alternative
than having to install, maintain and secure enterprise software applications,
as well as integrating disparate security solutions to protect their networks
in an ever-increasingly complex and changing environment of technology and
regulations," said Philippe Courtot, CEO and chairman at Qualys. "TELUS'
Security Solutions MSS, leveraging Qualys' vulnerability and compliance
management SaaS platform, offers organizations a comprehensive, hassle-free
and cost-effective solution to ensuring the security and compliance of their
networks."

QualysGuard is the exclusive vulnerability management platform used by
TELUS' Security Solutions team of over 70 security consultants and security
researchers. The combined Qualys/TELUS service offering allows customers to
deploy vulnerability management and policy compliance services on a global
scale. In addition to alerting customers when hosts are vulnerable to a
possible attack, the combined solution offers dynamic correlation of real-time
attack information with Qualys and TELUS Assurent vulnerability data, alerting
customers to real security incidents, while limiting false positives.

Qualys will be demonstrating its on demand security risk and compliance
management platform at booth No. 10 in the exhibition hall throughout the
conference. Media and analysts interested in speaking with Qualys or in seeing
