CORRE Retains Leading Investor Relations Firm

TORONTO, Feb. 20 /CNW/ - Canadian Oil Recovery and Remediation
Enterprises Ltd. (TSX-V: CVR) ("CORRE") announced today that it has retained
The Equicom Group Inc. ("Equicom") to provide CORRE with strategic investor
relations and communications services. Equicom is a wholly-owned subsidiary of
TMX Group Inc.
Equicom provides strategic communications services to approximately 100
public companies across a diverse range of industries. Under the terms of the
agreement, CORRE will pay Equicom an annual retainer fee of $42,000 for select
strategic communications services. As CORRE increases the scope of its
operations, the company has the option to increase the retainer fee at any
time to accommodate additional services. The initial contract term is 12
months and commences immediately.

    About CORRE

CORRE is a Canadian company that utilizes its proprietary Advanced
Recovery & Environmental Systems ("ARES") for oil recovery and site
remediation. As part of ARES, CORRE owns exclusive licenses to use two
innovative technologies and processes for oil recovery, sludge and drill
cuttings treatment and remediation of oil-contaminated sites. The first
technology, Aqueous Petroleum Effluent Extraction ("APEX") is well
established. The APEX process equipment has been used to treat petroleum
sludge in several oil-producing countries including India, Romania, Mexico,
Panama and Norway. The second technology, an Oxidation Stripping technology
known as ("OS"), separates oil from sand and other solids. The process
equipment utilizing the OS technology is proprietary prototype equipment,
which was exclusively developed by CORRE. CORRE believes that the OS
technology and process is best suited for unconventional oil production from
oil sands.
CORRE plans to deploy ARES in the oil producing countries of the Middle
East and other regions where there is substantial demand for its oil recovery
and remediation services. CORRE has already secured strategic local
partnerships in the Middle East and in some areas of South America. CORRE has
built the process equipment and shipped it to Kuwait in preparation for its
bid for projects and is now engaged in the process of applying for
pre-qualification as a service provider to local oil companies.
