Connecting people, communities and the future - VIA Rail president to announce refurbishing of passenger cars and discuss the potential of rail travel



    MONTREAL, Feb. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - Paul Côté, president and CEO of VIA
Rail, will speak at a luncheon presentation organized by the Canadian Club of
Montreal.
    He will use the opportunity to announce the refurbishing of LRC cars used
in the Quebec City-Windsor corridor and will provide details regarding the
call for tenders on Monday morning. Mr. Côté's address will focus largely on
the current and future potential of passenger rail travel.
    Rail travel offers passengers better and smarter alternative-a safer,
more comfortable, more efficient way to use time spent travelling. It's what
VIA calls "the more human way to travel."
