Concordia Students to Protest International Tuition Fee Hike

MONTREAL, March 31 /CNW Telbec/ - Today students will be demonstrating
outside the Concordia University Board of Governors meeting where the Board
will be voting on an increase in international tuition fees of 10%, or in real
terms $1000. This past June the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sports gave
Universities the right to further increase international tuition fees. If the
proposed tuition fee increase passes, Concordia will be the first university
in Quebec to raise follow the governments allowance and actually raise
international tuition fees.
