MONTREAL, June 7 /CNW Telbec/ - COGIR Real Estate, responsible for the
management of the office tower located at 700 de La Gauchetière West which was
closed on Friday due to a major water leak, announces that all aboveground
floors will be reopen to employees and companies operating in the location as
of 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8.
However, levels A and B of the commercial concourse will remain closed
until completion of the reconstruction work presently estimated at 15 days or
so. COGIR invites lessees of commercial spaces located on these levels to
contact the management team on duty to discuss required measures on a case by
case basis. COGIR will also put at their disposal temporary premises elsewhere
in the building to enable them to conduct any urgent operations.
Parking levels C to F will reopen later on this week. COGIR asks monthly
parking pass holders to drive to the Quartier international parking of the
Palais des congrès de Montréal (entrance off Saint-Antoine Street) where they
will park their vehicles for free until levels C to F are again accessible.
While the loading dock will also be operational on Monday morning, it
will be reserved in priority to operations necessary on the short term.
