Cocaine Anonymous of Quebec will organize its annual convention at the beginning of the year

MONTREAL, Jan. 15 /CNW/ - For the first time of its history, Cocaine
Anonymous of Quebec will organize its annual convention at the beginning of
the year to better reach and help all those who went through a difficult time
during the Christmas holiday. This period is filled with great joys, but also
great sorrows and loneliness, often causing some people the will to escape
through drugs.
Moreover, many partys happening during this period increase the risk of
drugs and alcohol usage because they often occur in places where one can find
these in abundance.
Lastly, when comes New Year's many take the resolution to stop using
drugs... only to realize a few days or weeks later they cannot manage to do it
by themselves.
It is for all these reasons that C.A. of Quebec (whose goal is to help
people who suffer from cocaine addiction and all other mind altering
substances), believes that a convention proceeding during the 3rd week of
January is likely to have a higher positive impact.
It will be held this week-end (January 18-19-20) at the Delta hotel of
the downtown area of Montreal (475 President Kennedy)
The theme of the 21st bilingual convention is "BELIEVE IN THE MIRACLE"
because:

    - To leave the hell of cocaine addiction is nothing short of a miracle.
    - This miracle occurred to us; we are now sober.
    - All those who still suffer must know about this.
