TORONTO, June 17, 2016 /CNW/ - The Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) is pleased to announce a new Mobile Marketing Award, which will recognize the best use of Facebook platforms in striking a balance between creativity and effectiveness. This new award will be presented in partnership with Facebook as part of the 2016 CMA Awards on November 25.
More than ever, Canadians are active on their mobile devices, spending more than one in four mobile minutes on platforms like Facebook and Instagram to connect, discover, share, research and purchase. As a result, Facebook is uniquely positioned to help brands and agencies win in this new world of mobile marketing.
"As more marketing dollars shift to mobile, we're seeing some of the most innovative marketing campaigns executed on platforms like Facebook and Instagram," said Doug Brooks, President & CEO of the Canadian Marketing Association. "We're excited to launch this new award to celebrate the best Canadian work in this field."
Work will be evaluated based on its ability to open hearts and minds. Entries will be considered based on three criteria:
- Business Issue & Creative Idea
- Communications & Media Strategy
- Real Results & Effectiveness
Entries for the Mobile Marketing Award are due on July 16. For more details and information on how to enter, please visit www.CMAawards.ca/#mobile.
