MONTREAL, Dec. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - Clemex Technologies Inc. (TSX
Venture: CXG.a) announces today that it has sold six of its new PSFilter
instruments for the cleanliness assessment in the last two months. This new
instrument, based on the new Clemex PS3 Particle Size analyzer is used to
quantify impurities and cleaning residues accumulated on filters in various
manufacturing industries or on witness plates in aerospace and semiconductor
industries. Sales of these instruments, which totaled US$ 340,000., were made
to Teleflex (Netherlands), Teleflex (Connecticut USA), Albon Manufacturing
(Oklahoma, USA), Momentive (Connecticut USA), Lockheed Martin (California,
USA) and Ball Aerospace (Colorado USA).
The President and CEO of Clemex Technologies Inc, Clément Forget
declared: "We are quite pleased to realize six sales for this new instrument
which is a direct spin off of our PS3 Particle Size analyzer. Both
applications are quite similar and although different laboratories are
targeted, we believe that there is an important market for such instruments.
The instruments sold to date are in fact conventional Clemex image analysis
systems adapted for cleanliness applications but we have designed a specific
instrument for this market called PSFilter which will be officially launched
soon. Our expertise and experience in image analysis technology has allowed us
to conceive this instrument very rapidly and we are confident that it will be
a commercial success in the near future"
