HALIFAX, Dec. 19 /CNW/ - Clarke Inc. ("Clarke") announces that it has
acquired 15,200 capital shares of NB Split Corp. ("NB Split") bringing its
total holdings in the capital shares of NB Split to 380,000 shares
representing approximately 12.49% of the total outstanding capital shares.
Geosam Investments Limited ("Geosam") owns 52,645 capital shares of NB
Split representing approximately 1.73% of the total outstanding capital
shares. Taken together, the NB Split capital shares held by Clarke and Geosam
total 432,645 shares, representing approximately 14.22% of the outstanding
capital shares of NB Split. Under applicable securities legislation, Clarke
may be seen to be acting jointly or in concert with Geosam.
The purchase of the NB Split capital shares by Clarke was made through
the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange for investment purposes. Clarke
may, from time to time, acquire additional capital shares of NB Split, dispose
of some or all of the existing or additional capital shares of NB Split, or
continue to hold the capital shares of NB Split in the normal course of
Clarke's investment activities.
The issuance of this news release does not constitute an admission by
Clarke that it is acting jointly or in concert with Geosam with respect to
capital shares of NB Split.
