Citizenship and Immigration Canada - Media advisory



    MONTREAL, Feb. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to a
special Citizenship ceremony as part of the activities marking National Flag
of Canada Day 2008.

    
    Date :     Friday, February 15, 2008
    Time:      2:00 p.m.
    Location : Naval Reserve HMCS RADISSON
               1000, Ile St-Christophe, Trois-Rivières, Québec.
    Details:   50 new citizens from 9 different countries, Algeria, Germany,
               Burundi, Chili, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo,
               France, Madagascar and Mexico.
    

    We are celebrating today the National Flag of Canada Day, in presence of
His Honour, the Honourable Pierre Duchesne, Lieutenant Governor of Québec. The
Naval Reserve of Trois-Rivières hosts this special citizenship ceremony. The
presiding officer will be the citizenship Judge, Mr Alain Gariépy.
