TEDCO-owned site to become seasonal home for newest
Cirque du Soleil touring show this summer
TORONTO, April 11 /CNW/ - The Toronto Economic Development Corporation
(TEDCO) today announced that Cirque du Soleil will perform in Toronto this
summer from August 9 to September 2 on a TEDCO-owned site in the Port Lands
Cirque du Soleil has brought wonder and delight to close to 60 million
spectators in more than 100 cities on five continents. In 2007, Cirque du
Soleil will present 15 shows simultaneously throughout the world.
Cirque du Soleil will raise their Grand Chapiteau at Cherry and
Commissioners Streets in the Port Lands area. The 2007 touring show titled
"Kooza" was announced this morning at a news conference at the Montreal site
of the touring show. The show features more than two hours of family-oriented
entertainment that Cirque du Soleil has been famous for over the last two
