Newlywed wins Nissan Versa
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 28 /CNW/ - Glen Squires of Charlottetown, PEI is
the third winner of the Versa Project from Nissan Canada. Nissan celebrates
the Versa, the small car that makes driving fun, as it continues to make its
mark with consumers.
"I'm so excited, I'm shaking," said Squire. "This is perfect timing! My
wife and I need a new car as ours is falling apart."
Squires decided to take a chance and enter the Versa Project after seeing
the commercials on television. A frequent lottery player, he was thrilled to
find out he was the third winner of the Versa Project, Nissan's fall contest
allowing customers to enter and potentially win a 2007 Versa. Starting late
last month, the contest will have one winner per week for 10 weeks.
"Mr. Squires is the proud third Versa Project winner," said Wendy
Durward, Director, Marketing Communications, Nissan Canada Inc. "We're
celebrating the popularity of Versa with a contest that rewards our customers
and demonstrates their importance to us."
Newlywed Squires entered the contest through Clarke Motors in
Charlottetown. He and his wife are considering purchasing a Nissan after rave
reviews from his in-laws who currently own a Nissan Quest.
