Changes in CNW Telbec Management & Board



    MONTREAL, June 12 /CNW/ - CNW Telbec, a Quebec-based newswire and
communications services company, and a subsidiary of nationally operating CNW
Group, is pleased to announce changes to its executive structure and Board of
Directors.
    Mr. Robert Henderson is appointed President of CNW Telbec and President
of the Board of Directors of CNW Telbec. Mr. Henderson is also Vice President
Eastern Canada of CNW Group.
    Long standing member of the CNW executive team, Mr. Jean-Guy Connolly,
has stepped down as President of CNW Telbec, but will remain on the CNW Telbec
Board of Directors as Chairman, Emeritus. Mr. Connolly was CNW Group's very
first employee when the company opened for business in 1960.
    Ms. Sharlene Dozois is promoted to Vice President, Sales Strategy, CNW
Group. Ms. Dozois was formerly Director of Sales, CNW Telbec.
    Ms. Manon Desrosiers is promoted to Sales Manager, Montreal Bureau, CNW
Telbec. Ms. Desrosiers was formerly Media Intelligence Specialist at CNW
Group.
    Ms. Christel Buisson will remain as Secretary of the CNW Telbec Board of
Directors and Director of CNW Group's News Centre Services nationally.
    In addition, Mr. Brian Quick has been appointed to the CNW Telbec Board
as an independent director. Mr. Quick is a Senior Associate with Findlay,
Lawrence & Associates. He brings more than thirty years of experience in the
investor relations and corporate finance fields. Prior to joining Findlay,
Lawrence & Associates, Mr. Quick was Vice President, Investor Relations at
Maison Brison, an investor relations consulting firm.
    Outgoing Board member is Mr. Denis Tremblay, who has served on the CNW
Telbec Board of Directors for nine years and is former Bureau Chief (Quebec)
of the Canadian Press.
