LONGUEUIL, QC, Jan. 15 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain
Bridges Incorporated wishes to inform the public that work on the concrete
support beams on the Champlain Bridge over Highway 132 will begin January 19,
for a period of approximately four nights. This work will require complete
closures of Highway 132 and its service roads alternately in each direction
from 8:00 pm to 5:30 am.
Note that this work is for the inspection of the beams over the traffic
lanes. To minimize impact on the road network, alternative routes will be
configured to facilitate users affected by the work.
If weather conditions hinder the work, it will be postponed until the
