CGI announces contracts with Canada's federal and provincial governments exceeding $250 million

    MONTREAL, April 3 /CNW Telbec/ - CGI Group Inc. (Toronto Stock Exchange:
GIB.A; New York Stock Exchange: GIB) announced today new and extended
contracts with Canada's federal and provincial governments which exceed $250
million in its fiscal second quarter (January-March) 2009.

    The new contracts and contract extensions originated from federal
agencies and the provincial governments of British Columbia, Alberta,
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Québec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
