students by using the technology to bridge the gap in training between the
commercial and general aviation worlds. The Ascent(R) XJ Trainer(TM) will be
used for entry-level preparation, LOFT training and Continuous Training. The
CQFA will also seek Level 3 certification for the flight training device from
Transport Canada.
"The Ascent(R) XJ Trainer(TM) offers us outstanding replication fidelity
and flexibility because it is reconfigurable between multiple aircraft models,
giving us a high quality simulator that lets us carefully tailor our training
to meet our commercial client's specific needs", said Serge Boucher, Director
of CQFA. "This simulator supports our training goals to attract more
commercial customers and offers our students with an excellent learning
environment that bridges the general aviation and commercial aviation worlds.
These elements when combined with its exceptional economics, led us to the
conclusion that Mechtronix was again the best choice for us when buying a
machine that will be vital to our success for years to come."
"We are honored to be chosen again to provide essential flight training
technology to a leading Canadian school like Centre Québécois de Formation
Aéronautique," said Xavier Hervé, Mechtronix Systems' President. This confirms
our innate ability to produce innovative solutions that provide flexibility,
