Parc Jean-Drapeau with a variety of activities and events for all ages. From a
sugar shack to a snowboard park, tube slides and a Skaters' path that runs
along the St. Lawrence, Week-ends d'hiver at Parc Jean-Drapeau are really
Don't miss the Course hypothermique this Saturday! Nearly 500 athletes
will participate in the event beginning at 7:30am (50 walkers) and 8:30am (415
runners). The half-marathon (21.1 km race) will wind throughout Parc
Jean-Drapeau in three loops of 7 km. Walkers will take part in the event for
the very first time! The start and finish line is at the Complexe aquatique of
île Ste-Hélène, close to the subway, and all profits will go to the Montreal
organization Le Phare.
What's more, the Cabane à sucre avant tout le monde will continue at
restaurant Hélène de Champlain, where visitors can sample a delicious
traditional meal prepared by the Sucrerie de la montagne for only $15+tx (to

- Snowboard Park: Zone 514 will thrill snowboard enthusiasts, two steps
away from the subway! Helmet is mandatory. (cost: $12 day pass, $8

covered tracks! (cost: $8)
- Skaters' Path: skate down this magical path that runs along the
St. Lawrence and offers a stunning view of downtown Montreal.
- Boot Hockey: have fun playing this classic winter sport... And it's a
- Equipment rental: rent skates and snowshoes ($6 for 2 hours) or sleds
($3). Skate sharpening is $5.
