Cayuga International Speedway Hosts First NASCAR(R) Canadian Tire Series Race in Canada

HAMILTON, ON, April 18 /CNW/ - Cayuga International Speedway Park (at
Nelles Corners) "revs up" its 2007 season by making history in hosting the
first NASCAR(R) Canadian Tire Series race on May 26, 2007.
One of Canada's fastest oval racetracks is making history by hosting
Canada's first sanctioned NASCAR(R) Canadian Tire Series. Season Passes are
presently selling for $99.00 allowing entry to a minimum of 9 races for the
2007 season including the ASA Late Models, the Auto Value Super Sprints and
more.
Included in the ongoing renovations are upgraded facilities and
concession areas that will be geared to a brand new vision for hosting not
only racing events, but concerts, exhibitions and other gatherings, building
on Cayuga's glorious past that spans over four decades.
With the support of corporate sponsors and local community, Cayuga
International Speedway Park President Jerry Santucci is proud of the growing
momentum that will see a new level of multi-complex entertainment and
excitement in Ontario.
Since purchasing the facility in May of 2006, there has been a continued
commitment made to provide fans with the best ever 'Specials Only' racing
format. "Historically, fans have grown to expect some of the world's biggest
names in the business," said Santucci. Bobby Alison, Dale Earnhardt and Rusty
Wallace are all part of Cayuga's rich history. "We are recapturing the
excitement that Cayuga International Speedway Park premier racing has to offer
by returning to the big races. Everyone is thrilled to see Cayuga Speedway
Park once again become a special outing for families and race car fans alike,"
adds Jerry.

Cayuga International Speedway Park is one of Canada's fastest 5/8-mile
paved oval tracks, located on almost 300 acres; less than one hour's drive
from Hamilton and draws fans from across southern Ontario and northern New
York State. Other facilities include 9 VIP suites for special viewing, over
1,500 campsites, ample supervised parking and refreshment and souvenir booths.
