Be part of the evolution of Carnival in Vancouver
VANCOUVER, June 11 /CNW/ - On July 28th-29th, Waterfront Park in North
Vancouver will come alive with the rhythm of Carnival for Caribbean Days 2007!
As part of this celebration, Carnival Sensations introduces "Sweet Soca
Seasons", a "mas band" designed by award-winning Trinidadian artist Rudi
Marshall, with two exciting events!
Who: Carnival Sensations, with sponsorship from Tim Hortons, Butterflies,
Grenations, Dynamic Chocolates, B A Diva Makeovers, 96.1 FM, and
What: Costume Launch Party. A night of "feting" Caribbean-style
featuring: live music, drink specials, and dancing! Tickets are
$20/advance at: Butterflies (Metrotown), Zoho Salon, Anim Hair and
Beauty Salon, World Shine, or through contacting us directly.

In 2006, we had 80 masqueraders for the parade of all ages. We are now
doubling the size of the "band" and invite you to sign up! Costumes and
registration forms will be available at Butterflies as of June 18th. Costumes
are $55 before June 30th and $65 thereafter and are yours to keep.
