its employees across Canada have collectively donated more than $1.3 million
to the annual United Way campaign in 2006, surpassing all previous years'

contributions, corporate donations and local fund-raising events collectively
contribute to increasing yearly employee participation and campaign results.
Our company's 2006 contribution was honoured this year in the United
Way's annual 'Thanks a Million' national campaign. CanWest was among
65 organizations to achieve this prestigious recognition.
