Cantabile, The London Quartet to launch Sixth Artistic Season at Christ Church Cathedral on Friday, October 3rd

"An Evening of Great Singing, Great Songs and Great Fun"

OTTAWA, June 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Cathedral Arts today announced that
Cantabile, The London Quartet, "one of the finest vocal groups in Europe",
will be the Opening Act on October 3rd for its 2008-2009 Season at Christ
Church Cathedral. The male a capella group, comprised of three tenors and a
baritone, are revered singers, recording artists, world travellers and
engaging wits.
Since 1982, Cantabile has presented more than 2,500 performances at many
venues worldwide, including concerts at New York's Carnegie Hall and classical
parodies at London's BBC "Proms in the Park". The quartet consistently
delights audiences with an amazing range of programmes from Jazz to Madrigals,
from Beatles to Broadway, also paying tribute to some great vocal groups of
the past - all presented with a unique blend of British humor and musical
virtuosity!
More details for this event and the new Season, featuring local, national
and international talent, will be announced later this month.
