TORONTO, Jan. 12 /CNW/ - Canadians across the country submitted their
recipes and voted for their favourites, and after weeks of competition, the
first-ever ZANTAC(R) Chili Challenge cook-off has arrived. Hosted by acclaimed
chef, author and Food TV personality Anthony Sedlak, three recipes will be
prepared live at a chili throwdown in Toronto on January 29th.
With unique ingredients like honey, cinnamon, whiskey and yams, and
diverse cooking methods, the chili recipes bring the flavour, spice and heat
sure to tantalize the tastebuds of any chili enthusiast. The three ZANTAC(R)
Chili Challenge finalists will prepare their chili recipes live before a
judging panel of Toronto food and sports personalities for the chance to win a
trip for two to the Mayan Riviera. Recipes will be judged for taste,
originality and presentation.
