Canadian Mining Permitting Nears Completion

Symbol:  CNG - TSX.V

VANCOUVER, Nov. 16, 2011 /CNW/ - Canadian Mining Company Inc. (TSX.V: CNG) The Company is pleased to report the Ministry of Energy and Mines has acknowledged receipt of the Company's Notice of Work and Reclamation Program to be conducted on its Sun Group Zeolite Project, Princeton BC.  The Ministry has now referred the Company's Exploration Drill Program to other resource agencies and the area First Nations for their review.

As a condition of the permit, Canadian Mining will post a security deposit and provide the Ministry with a Mine Emergency Response Plan.  This plan, which includes the name of the designated Mine Manager, will be posted at the drill sites at all times.  All employees will be advised and trained in the use of this plan.  Mr. Ron Schneider has been appointed to act as Mine Manager of the Sun Group Zeolite Project on behalf of the Company.

The Sun Group Zeolite Project positions Canadian Mining as a supplier for the expanding Canadian and global zeolite markets.  Canadian Mining has been receiving an increasing number of inquiries for its zeolite.  In addition to lightweight cement applications, buyers are interested in CNG's zeolite for water filtration, agricultural, soil remediation, automotive, fire safety, livestock, hydrogen fuel cells and other applications. Perhaps the most compelling use of CNG's zeolites will be in a potential method to reduce carbon emissions at the Alberta Tar Sands.

Canadian Mining's zeolite from its Bromley Creek zeolite mine has already found its way into the oil patch albeit not yet to the tar sands. Under an option with Heemskirk Canada Ltd, Heemskirk supplies industrial giant Halliburton with micronized zeolite to mix a light weight drill hole cement, that works better and is more consistent over a wide range of field conditions. The  option with Heemskirk is in effect to June 30, 2015 and pays Canadian Mining a royalty of $7.50 per tonne on zeolite sold from the mine.

Canadian Mining's zeolite diversifies the Company beyond its precious and base metal holdings.  With ever-increasing zeolite markets for green technologies and industrial demands a high quality zeolite resource is required.  The Sun Group Zeolite Project has had sufficient work to identify a large high-quality zeolite deposit.  The drill permitting process Canadian Mining is now completing will advance this project to 43-101 standards.
