Canadian Idol Competitor Update: 9 Remain as Adam Castelli Eliminated



    TORONTO, July 15 /CNW/ - Nine remain in the race for the Canadian Idol
title as Hamilton's Adam Castelli was revealed tonight as receiving the fewest
number of votes this week. The Top 9 finalists now begin preparing for the
next round of the competition when they pay homage to some of their favourite
departed musicians during Rock and Roll Heaven week on Monday, July 21 at the
new time of 9 p.m. ET on CTV (go to idol.CTV.ca to confirm local listings).
    Then, on Tuesday, July 22 at 8 p.m. ET during the Top 9 results show,
Season 5 runner-up and fan favourite Jaydee Bixby returns home to Canadian
Idol for a special performance.
    The Top 9 returning to the Canadian Idol stage to perform for viewer
votes on Monday are:
