been named a finalist for the U.S. Fashion Group International (FGI) 12th
Annual prestigious Rising Star Award in the Beauty/Fragrance Entrepreneur
Schwarzkopf has been in the industry for over 60 years. Some would say
that the beauty industry itself is in his DNA. In 1903 his chemist
grandfather, Hans Schwarzkopf, invented shampoo - the first product ever
created specifically to clean hair - a powder that he called "shampoon."
